Dr. Richard Garfinkel was presented the Alumni Achievement Award at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center Annual Meeting in September. The event was attended by ophthalmologists who trained there, current members of the school faculty and residents & fellows in training. Dr. Garfinkel did his residency at the Kellogg Eye Center in the mid-1980’s and also earned his undergraduate degree at Michigan.
