Nine RGW Doctors’ Research Study Results Published
Posted in AnnouncementsA paper summarizing the results of a recent study in which nine RGW doctors participated was published in the journal Retina in September. The “Same Day Versus Delayed” Vitrectomy study dealt with the optimal timing for vitreous surgery following complicated cataract surgery. Patients were measured for best-corrected visual acuity at six months and final best-corrected visual acuity along with a variety of postoperative complications. The outcomes of delayed surgery were found to be equivalent to outcomes of same-day surgery.
